Volleyball Game Preview: Plainview Pirates vs. Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard] Bobcats

The Plainview Pirates will take on the Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard] Bobcats at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

On Saturday, Plainview got the win against Hartington-Newcastle by a conclusive 3-0. The Pirates haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard] made easy work of Neligh-Oakdale on Saturday and carried off a 3-0 win.

Plainview better keep an eye on Kaylee Thiele. She was instrumental in Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard]'s win, getting 20 digs and four assists. Thiele has been hot for a while, having posted 15 or more digs the last ten times she's played.

Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard]'s victory bumped their record up to 10-17. As for Plainview, their win bumped their record up to 18-9.
