Basketball Recap: Blue Ridge Christian Extends Winning Streak to Nine

Blue Ridge Christian put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They really took it to the North Cross Raiders for the full four quarters, racking up a 47-20 victory. The Bears have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 27 points or more this season.

Blue Ridge Christian's win was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-0. As for North Cross, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Blue Ridge Christian will be home for the holidays to greet Ridgeview Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Blue Ridge Christian's defense has only allowed 25 points per game this season, so Ridgeview Christian's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for North Cross, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on New Covenant at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
