Western International had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.5 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Lincoln Park Railsplitters as they made off with an 8-3 victory. Considering Western International have won five games by more than four goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Western International pushed their record up to 5-6 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 25 goals over those three matchups. As for Lincoln Park, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.

Western International wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 4-3 win against Cass Tech on the 9th. As for Lincoln Park, they will challenge Taylor at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Lincoln Park are facing Taylor at the right time seeing as Taylor are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
