Basketball Recap: Legacy Comes Up Short

Legacy saw some tournament action on Friday. They fell 53-43 to the Randall Raiders. While losing is never fun, the Leopards can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 421st, while the Raiders are ranked 170th).

Legacy now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Randall, their win was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Legacy will be home for the holidays to greet Mineral Wells at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Randall and Dumas will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Dumas will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Randall surely won't give up without a fight.
