Basketball Recap: Cedar Key Comes Up Short at Home Against Bronson + How To Watch

Cedar Key unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Bronson Eagles on Monday, falling 57-35. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it seven in a row.

Andrea Schuler was a one-woman wrecking crew For Bronson. as she dropped a double-double with 24 points and 11 boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Makenna Dean, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds.

The win got Bronson back to even at 1-1.

Cedar Key has already played their next contest (against Riverside Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Bronson, they will face off against Trenton at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
