Softball Recap: Pennsauken Tech Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

While Pennsauken Tech's win against LEAP Academy wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Pennsauken Tech sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 14-12 victory over LEAP Academy on Monday. With that win, Pennsauken Tech brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.

The team relied heavily on Saniyah Falana, who went 3-for-5 with three RBI, one triple, and one run.

Pennsauken Tech was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in three consecutive matchups.

The victory snapped Pennsauken Tech's losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 8-13 record. As for LEAP Academy, they dropped their record down to 6-27 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight at home.
