Indian Lake turns things around after tough road loss

There's no place like home for the Indian Lake Lakers, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Wednesday. They walked away with a 46-35 victory over Upper Scioto Valley on Saturday. That's another feather in the cap for Indian Lake, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Upper Scioto Valley's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Brielle Cotterman, who scored six points along with seven rebounds, and Layla Hunsicker who scored 11 points. Those 11 points set a new season-high mark for her.
Indian Lake's win bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Upper Scioto Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 3-6.
Indian Lake will be playing in front of their home fans against Waynesfield-Goshen at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Upper Scioto Valley, they will head out on the road to face off against Perry at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Perry focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 last Thursday.
