Basketball Game Preview: Eisenhower Cadets vs. West Valley Rams

Eisenhower hasn't had much luck against West Valley recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Cadets will host the Rams at 7:00 p.m. Eisenhower knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully West Valley likes a good challenge.

Eisenhower was handed a 23-point defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 63-60 victory over Wenatchee. The win continues a trend for the Cadets in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won seven in a row.

Meanwhile, you can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely West Valley's strategy against Wenatchee on Saturday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Rams blew the Panthers out of the water with a 77-40 final score. The Rams have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 20 points or more this season.

West Valley's victory bumped their record up to 17-2. As for Eisenhower, their win bumped their record up to 4-14.
