Basketball Recap: Culpeper County Takes a Loss

If Culpeper County was riding high fresh off their 69-43 takedown of Brentsville District on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Culpeper County Blue Devils lost 69-47 to the Caroline Cavaliers on Friday. The Blue Devils haven't had much luck with the Cavaliers recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Culpeper County's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Caroline, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-4.

Culpeper County will square off against Chancellor at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Chancellor knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Culpeper County likes a good challenge. As for Caroline, they and St. Michael the Archangel will face off at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. St. Michael the Archangel will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Caroline surely won't give up without a fight.
