Soccer Game Preview: Fairfax HomeSchool vs. Evergreen Christian

Fairfax HomeSchool is 0-3 against Evergreen Christian since March of 2024 but things could change on Friday. The Hawks will venture away from home to face off against the Eagles at 4:00 p.m. Fairfax HomeSchool has given up an average of 5.6 goals per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Monday just wasn't the day for Fairfax HomeSchool's offense. They came up short against Virginia Academy on Monday, falling 11-0. While losing is never fun, Fairfax HomeSchool can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 261st, while Virginia Academy are ranked 18th).

Meanwhile, Evergreen Christian lost 5-2 to Chelsea Academy on Tuesday. Evergreen Christian have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Evergreen Christian's loss dropped their record down to 2-7-1. As for Fairfax HomeSchool, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.

Fairfax HomeSchool couldn't quite get it done against Evergreen Christian when the teams last played back in March as they fell 5-3. Can the Hawks avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
