Baseball Recap: Keota Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Keota had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. Everything went their way against the Iowa Valley Tigers as they made off with a 17-5 victory. Considering the Eagles have won six matchups by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Keota now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Iowa Valley, they dropped their record down to 8-9 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Coincidentally, Keota and Iowa Valley will both be playing Lone Tree the next time they take the field. The Eagles will head out to face the Lions at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Tigers will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
