The Trinidad Miners were the clear victor by a 63-40 margin over the Centennial Rams on Friday thanks in part to Moreno, who posted 21 points. Those 21 points gave him a new career-high.
Trinidad now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Centennial, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.
Trinidad will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Dolores Huerta Prep at 8:00 p.m. on January 8, 2025. As for Centennial, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against La Veta at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
