 It was a good run, but  Deuel unfortunately witnessed the end of their  six-game winning streak on Tuesday. They lost  9-2 to the Castlewood Warriors. Having soared to a lofty 17  runs in the game before, Deuel couldn't push the score so high this time.
 For Castlewood's part,  Claire Horn spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered two  runs (both of which were unearned)  on two hits and racked up 16 Ks. Horn has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts every time she's  pitched this season.
 On the hitting side,  Cydni Kudrna was  incredible,  scoring three  runs and  stealing three bases while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Bridgette Horn, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 3-for-4.
 Deuel's loss  ended  a  five-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 12-4. As for Castlewood, their victory was  their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 11-2.
 Deuel will be playing at home against Chester at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Deuel is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9  runs per game  this season. As for Castlewood, they will be playing at home against Sisseton at 5:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Castlewood's pitching crew has only allowed 3.8  runs per game  this season, so Sisseton's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
