Softball Preview: Scarborough Red Storm vs. Portland Bulldogs
Scarborough is 10-0 against Portland since June of 2016, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. Scarborough took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They walked away with a 10-6 victory over Massabesic. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for Scarborough considering their one-run performance the match before.
Gabby Pelletier made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched four innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Pelletier has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive pitching appearances. Pelletier was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.
