Volleyball Recap: Newcastle Comes Up Short

Newcastle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Bethany Bronchos. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Racers have suffered since September 18th.

Newcastle's defeat dropped their record down to 10-16. As for Bethany, they pushed their record up to 21-1 with the victory, which was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Newcastle will host El Reno at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bethany, they will take on Community Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
