Basketball Recap: Newport Comes Up Short

On Saturday, the Newport Grizzlies ended up a good deal behind the Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna Broncos and lost 71-53. The Grizzlies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Newport's loss dropped their record down to 3-20. As for Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 9-14 record this season.

As of now, neither Newport nor Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna have any future games scheduled.
