Dupree and Tiospaye Topa are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2018, but not for long. The Dupree Tigers will host the Tiospaye Topa Thunderhawks at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 68-63 heartbreaker at the hands of Oelrichs. While the Thunderhawks didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Tigers 18-9 in the first quarter.

Dupree will need to focus on slowing down Andrei Hojas, one of several Tiospaye Topa players who made an impact when they last played. He posted 21 points. The dominant performance gave Hojas a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Trevian Kills Crow, who put up 13 points.

Dupree's loss dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Tiospaye Topa, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-14.

Everything came up roses for Dupree against Tiospaye Topa in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, as the team secured a 73-37 win. Will Dupree repeat their success, or does Tiospaye Topa have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
