Basketball Recap: Logan Mcdaniel's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Bristow over Mannford

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Bristow and Mannford, and Mannford kept the tradition alive. Bristow took a 55-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of Mannford on Saturday. If Bristow was looking for revenge after losing 47-38 to Mannford when the teams met back in January, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Bristow lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Logan McDaniel, who posted 14 points and five steals. Another player making a difference was Dj Allen, who shot 40% from the field to rack up 17 points.

Bristow's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Bristow will be playing in front of their home fans against Kellyville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mannford, they will venture away from home to take on Nowata at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
