Football Game Preview: Spaulding Red Raiders vs. Dover Green Wave

The Spaulding Red Raiders will venture away from home to take on the Dover Green Wave at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Spaulding is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Timberlane on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Red Raiders lost 29-7 to the Owls. The Red Raiders haven't had much luck with the Owls recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Meanwhile, Dover came up short against Winnacunnet on Friday and fell 21-14.

Spaulding now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Dover, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Spaulding beat Dover 41-33 when the teams last played back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Red Raiders since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
