Arendell Parrott Academy waltzed into their game on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Wayne Christian Eagles. The Patriots have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

Arendell Parrott Academy took Wayne Christian into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 21-25, 18-25, 25-23, 15-13.

Georgia Fanning paced Arendell Parrott Academy's offense, picking up 22 kills. Fanning got some help from Jaiden Lucas and her 45 assists. Callie Sanderson and Anna Grace Briley kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Arendell Parrott Academy's win bumped their record up to 15-4. As for Wayne Christian, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-6.

The Patriots (ranked 128th) will meet Pungo Christian Academy (ranked 533rd) at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Wayne Christian will take on John Paul II Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (189 vs. 425).
