Basketball Recap: Collinsville Takes a Loss

Collinsville was the 58-39 winner over Lindsay when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Collinsville Pirates received a blow on Friday as they fell 65-50 to the Lindsay Knights. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Collinsville's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Lindsay, their win ended a ten-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 9-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Collinsville will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Slidell at 11:05 a.m. on December 31st. Lindsay will also get a bit of a break before their next contest: they'll face off against Muenster at 12:15 p.m. on December 31st.
