Volleyball Recap: Triad Knights vs. Centralia Orphans
Triad was the 2-1 winner over Centralia when they last played one another back in October of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Triad Knights took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Centralia Orphans on Thursday.
While Triad was not able to win a set, they sure kept things interesting: every set was decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 26-24.
Triad now has a losing record at 15-16. As for Centralia, their victory bumped their record up to 16-14.
Triad is on the road again on Tuesday to play Mattoon at 7:00 p.m. As for Centralia, they will host Hamilton County at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday.
