Morgan Park Academy lost to Goode STEM Academy back in November of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Warriors snuck past the Knights with a 51-47 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

Morgan Park Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Morritz Schmurr, who went 6-for-8 on his way to 14 points along with five rebounds and three blocks. Another player making a difference was Ivan Fullilove, who posted 12 points and three steals.

Morgan Park Academy's record is now 2-0. As for Goode STEM Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Morgan Park Academy and Goode STEM Academy will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Warriors are set to face off against their familiar foe British International School of Chicago at 6:00 p.m. on December 3. Meanwhile, Goode STEM Academy will challenge rival Solorio at 5:00 p.m. on December 4.
