While Halls put up some runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Clinton. The Halls Red Devils put the hurt on the Clinton Dragons with a sharp 9-0 victory. The Red Devils not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since May 11, 2024.

Emery Bales was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run over seven innings pitched. Bales was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

In other batting news, Halls let Makaylie Hutchison and Adrie Johnston run wild. Hutchison went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one double, while Johnston went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI and one triple. Harper Bales was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base.

The win got Halls back to even at 1-1. As for Clinton, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1-1.

Halls didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 0-0 tie against Silverdale Academy on the 7th. As for Clinton, they have also already played their next game, a 6-5 victory against Mt. Lebanon on the 14th.
