Soccer Recap: The Nueva School Comes Up Short

The Nueva School and Silver Creek squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but The Nueva School had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Silver Creek Raiders by a score of 2-1. Having soared to a lofty six goals in the game before, the Mavericks couldn't push the score so high this time.

The Nueva School's defeat dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Silver Creek, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

The Nueva School does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Silver Creek, they will square off against Milpitas at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Silver Creek is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.5 goals per game this season.
