Baseball Recap: Rocky River Takes a Loss

Rocky River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 13-8 to the Jackson Day Mariners.

Rocky River's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Jackson Day, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-10.

Looking ahead, Rocky River will be playing in front of their home fans against Garinger at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Ravens are facing the Wildcats at the right time seeing as the Wildcats are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Jackson Day, they will venture away from home to challenge Queen's Grant at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Stallions have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12 runs per game on average), something the Mariners will no doubt try to take advantage of.
