Volleyball Game Preview: Gallatin Green Wave vs. Hillsboro Burros

The Gallatin Green Wave will face off against the Hillsboro Burros on Monday.

Gallatin is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Green Hill just ended the team's four-match winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 3-1 to the Hawks.

Skylar Wilson put forth a good effort for the losing side as she had 19 digs and one assist. She has been hot recently, having posted 13 or more digs the last three times she's played.

Meanwhile, Hillsboro got the win against McGavock on Wednesday by a conclusive 3-0.

Hillsboro has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-10 record this season. As for Gallatin, their defeat dropped their record down to 21-10.

Gallatin came up short against Hillsboro in their previous matchup back in October of 2022, falling 3-1. Can the Green Wave avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
