Soccer Preview: Riverdale Takes on Cory-Rawson in Tournament Play

The Riverdale Falcons will be taking part in a tournament against the Cory-Rawson Fighting Hornets at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Cory-Rawson has given up an average of 7.5 goals per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Last Tuesday, Riverdale snuck past Lincolnview with a 2-1 victory.

Meanwhile, Cory-Rawson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 20th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 10-0 to New Knoxville.

Riverdale is now 8-8-1, having gone 3-4 since their three-game winning streak ended. As for Cory-Rawson, they have now lost 15 of their last 16 games on the road. That's part of the reason why they have an 0-17 record this season.
