Hayesville entered their tilt with Robbinsville on Thursday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 55-50 W against the Robbinsville Black Knights. This was a revenge game for the Yellowjackets: when they faced off against the Black Knights last Tuesday, they had to take a 57-29 loss.

Leading Hayesville to victory were Mallory Peck and Emma Ashe. Peck went 6-for-11 en route to 16 points and eight rebounds, while Ashe went 5-for-10 to rack up 13 points. That's the most points Ashe has posted since back in February of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Shook, who had nine points and three steals.

Hayesville pushed their record up to 14-10 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Robbinsville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-11.

Looking ahead, Hayesville will be playing at home against Swain County at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Robbinsville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
