Football Game Preview: Winslow vs. Waterville

Winslow will be defending their home turf for the first time on Saturday when they go up against Waterville at 1:00 PM. Winslow have the odds in their favor, so they'll need to guard against complacency.

Winslow were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap last week, as they fell 30-35 to Gardiner.

Meanwhile, if Waterville were riding high off their 45-12 takedown of Belfast two weeks ago, that ride came to an abrupt end. Waterville were completely outmatched, falling 7-47 to Madison/Carrabec.

With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
