MacArthur proved they can win big last Monday (they won by three) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Aldine Mustangs. The win was familiar territory for the Generals, who have now won six matches in a row.

They hit Aldine with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Madisson Duran, Joselin Gonzalez, and Galilahi Pena.

MacArthur pushed their record up to 10-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 26 goals over those four contests. As for Aldine, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-3.

MacArthur wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 9-1 win against Spring on the 28th. As for Aldine, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 4-0 victory against Westfield on the 28th.
