Recap: Crockett Tech Rockets vs. Western International Cowboys
The Crockett Tech Rockets's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fourth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Western International, falling 40-10. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Crockett Tech has scored all season.
Western International found their leader in underclassman T?Nya Whitehead, who scored 26 points along with seven steals and six assists. That makes it three consecutive games in which Whitehead has scored at least a third of Western International's points. Kiemara Acuff was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with ten rebounds and two steals.
Crockett Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Western International, they pushed their record up to 4-3 with that win, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Crockett Tech will face off against East English Village Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Western International, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Ford at 7:00 p.m. Ford is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
