Softball Game Preview: Amboy Clippers vs. Polo Marcos

For the second straight game, Amboy will face off against Polo. The Clippers will head out on the road to take on the Marcos at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Amboy's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They blew past Polo 11-0. The game marked the Clippers' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Amboy has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Polo, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.
