Leuzinger proved they can win big on Saturday (they won by 12) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the South Gate Rams 4-2. The four-run effort marked the Olympians' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Leuzinger's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Tyler Lewis, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Leuzinger's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for South Gate, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Leuzinger has already played their next game (against Beverly Hills), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for South Gate, they will challenge Hawthorne at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday.
