Baseball Recap: Roosevelt Has No Trouble Against Camden

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Washburn, Roosevelt was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They blew past the Camden Patriots 11-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 11-0 back in April.

Milo Hudalla made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out six batters over 3.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. Those six strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Hunter Holst, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three runs and one RBI. Those three runs gave him a new career-high.

Roosevelt always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .533. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Roosevelt's victory bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Camden, their defeat was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-4.
