Providence Christian had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 35.4 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Tuesday. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 76-18 win over the Samson Tigers. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 116th, while the Tigers are ranked 323rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Providence Christian has also been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.2 points per game. As for Samson, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-8.
