Basketball Game Preview: AHSTW Vikings vs. Underwood Eagles

AHSTW is preparing for their first conference matchup of the season on Friday. They will take on the Underwood Eagles at 6:00 p.m. Underwood took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on AHSTW, who comes in off a win.

AHSTW is headed into the matchup having just posted their closest victory since January 17th last Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against CAM, sneaking past 48-45. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Vikings.

Meanwhile, Underwood had to start their season on the road on Monday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a 67-50 bruising from Shenandoah. The Eagles have struggled against the Mustangs recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

AHSTW will need to focus on slowing down Ainsley Roberts, one of several Underwood players who made an impact when they last played. She went 7-for-14 en route to 18 points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Remi Paulson, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and 11 boards.

AHSTW came out on top in a nail-biter against Underwood in their previous meeting back in January, sneaking past 33-30. Do the Vikings have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
