Charleston is a perfect 5-0 against Paris since May of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Trojans will look to defend their home field against the Tigers at 4:30 p.m. Charleston is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.2 runs per game this season.

Things were looking good for Charleston after they put the first run on the board on Friday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell just short of Effingham by a score of 9-7. The Trojans have struggled against the Hearts recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Charleston got a massive performance out of Avery Beals, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs and one double. Another player making a difference was Rylee Lewis, who went 2-for-3 with one home run.

Meanwhile, Paris came up short against Casey-Westfield on Monday, falling 11-1.

Charleston's defeat dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Paris, their loss dropped their record down to 9-14.

Everything went Charleston's way against Paris in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, as Charleston made off with a 13-1 win. Will the Trojans repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
