Baseball Recap: Kodiak Comes Up Short

Kodiak came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Palmer Moose, falling 15-5. The Bears were not able to make up for their defeat to the Moose from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Zeke Saltonstall was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one triple and two RBI.

Kodiak's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Palmer, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Kodiak will challenge rival Grace Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Palmer is set to take on their familiar foe Houston at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
