Softball Recap: Randleman Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Randleman and West Wilkes squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Randleman had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Blackhawks by a score of 6-5. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Blackhawks apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2015.

Kadie Green made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with two runs and one double.

Randleman's defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 20-6. As for West Wilkes, the win (which was their 18th in a row) raised their record to 24-3.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Blackhawks beat Randleman by a score of 8-0 on Thursday.
