Football Preview: Warrenton Warriors vs. Banks Braves        
        
		
             Warrenton has been away from home for three games now, but  on Friday they'll finally make their return. They will welcome the Banks Braves  at 7:00  p.m. The two teams have allowed few  points on average, (Warrenton: 10, Banks: 13) so any  points scored will be well earned.
 Warrenton is probably headed into the  game with a chip on their shoulder considering Yamhill-Carlton just ended the team's  four-game winning streak  on Friday. They fell to the Tigers  26-21. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
 Meanwhile, Banks put another one in the bag  on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Valley Catholic 54-12. The Braves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by 20  points or more this season.
 Banks' receiving core played a big role in the win, headlined by  Jarrett Martin and  Lane Gilbert. Martin gained 172 total yards and two touchdowns while  Gilbert rushed for 109 yards and four touchdowns on only 11 carries. Martin's longest rush was for an impressive 55 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
 Banks was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 375  rushing yards. That's the most  rushing yards they've managed all season.
 Banks didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of  Henry White and  Brayden Exline.
 Warrenton's loss  ended  a  three-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 5-3. As for Banks, they pushed their record up to 7-0 with the  victory, which was their eighth straight  on the road dating back to last season.
 Warrenton was taken down by Banks 42-8 when the teams last played  back in October of 2023. Can Warrenton avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
