After having lost a blowout in their previous game against St. Albert, Clarinda was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Glenwood Rams, sneaking past 6-5. This was a revenge game for the Cardinals: when they faced off against the Rams last Tuesday, they had to take a 14-13 loss.

Clarinda's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Glenwood, their defeat was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Clarinda will challenge Shenandoah at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Glenwood, they will square off against Fremont-Mills at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Knights will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Rams surely won't give up without a fight.
