Mayfield is 8-2 against North since August of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Wildcats will host the Rangers at 6:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

On Saturday, Mayfield came up short against Villa Angela-St. Joseph and fell 2-0.

Meanwhile, North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They came up short against Kenston, falling 3-0.

While North was not able to win a set, they sure kept things interesting: every set was decided by three points or less. The final score came out to 31-29, 25-23, 25-22.

Mayfield's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for North, their loss dropped their record down to 7-11.

Everything went Mayfield's way against North in their previous matchup back in September, as Mayfield made off with a 3-0 win. Will the Wildcats repeat their success, or do the Rangers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
