Baseball Recap: Vista Ridge Takes a Loss

Vista Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-4 heartbreaker at the hands of the Cedar Ridge Raiders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-3 last Saturday.

Vista Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Cedar Ridge, they have been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 16 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6-1 record this season.

Vista Ridge will square off against Manor at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Rangers are facing the Mustangs at the right time seeing as the Mustangs are stuck on a 14-game losing streak. As for Cedar Ridge, they will take on McNeil at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The last three games the Mavericks have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
