Softball Recap: Bristol Eastern Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Bristol Eastern waltzed into their game on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by a 17-4 margin over the Conard Red Wolves. Considering the Lancers have won six contests by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Corinne Sutula was a standout: she went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, one double, and one RBI. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. Maria Albert was another key player, going 3-for-5 with four runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Bristol Eastern's victory bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Conard, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 10-11.

As of now, neither Bristol Eastern nor the Red Wolves have any future games scheduled.
