Lowry heads in on the heels of a playoff match on Thursday. They fell just short of Churchill County by a score of 10-9. The game snapped a strange streak: the last three times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.

Erick Valencia made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with three runs. Lowry is 9-4 when Valencia posts two or more runs, but 5-11 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Zaq Growcock, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with one stolen base and one RBI.
