Montrose waltzed into their contest on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the Birch Run Panthers as they made off with a 15-3 victory. The Rams might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by six runs or more this season.

Montrose's win bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Birch Run, they dropped their record down to 10-15 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Montrose will host Mt. Morris at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Rams' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Panthers have averaged an impressive 6.2 runs per game this season. As for Birch Run, they will head out on the road to face off against Lakeville at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
