Volleyball Recap: Lyons Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Lyons lost against Glenbard West back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Lions fell just short of the Hilltoppers by a score of 2-1.

Lyons actually scored more points across those three sets (67-65), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 25-21, 15-25, 25-21.

Taylor Carroll paced Lyons' offense, picking up 19 kills. Carroll got some help from Colleen Chambers and her 33 assists. Julia Ahrens controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Lyons' defeat dropped their record down to 21-10. As for Glenbard West, they pushed their record up to 25-9 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Lyons didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Mother McAuley on the 22nd. As for Glenbard West, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Stevenson on the 24th.
