There's no place like home for Sheridan, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Maysville Panthers on Thursday. That's more bragging rights for the Generals, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Sheridan was: they took every set by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-13, 25-12.

Among those leading the charge was Ella Thomas, who had four digs and three aces. That's the most digs she has posted over her last five matches.

Thomas wasn't the only good servers: Sheridan was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. The Generals are a perfect 5-0 when they serve at least ten aces.

Sheridan's record now sits at 12-10. As for Maysville, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-20.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Sheridan will take on Chillicothe at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Maysville, they will face off against River View at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Black Bears will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight.
