Baseball Game Preview: Copley Indians vs. Tallmadge Blue Devils

Copley is 2-8 against Tallmadge since April of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Indians are taking a road trip to challenge the Blue Devils at 5:00 p.m.

Copley's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They came out on top against Tallmadge by a score of 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Indians.

Evan Chmielewski made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit over seven innings pitched. Chmielewski was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season.

Copley's record now sits at 5-8. As for Tallmadge, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
